Dr. Samantha Wilson

I was born and raised in Lake Zurich, IL with four older sisters. While growing up, I always had a passion for the environment and initially set my sights on becoming a biologist. I received my undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech as a Wildlife Conservation major while also having the opportunity to work at zoos, small animal veterinary clinics, dairy farms, an aquaculture research center, and even a black bear research center. I went back to the Midwest for veterinary school and graduated from Iowa State in the spring of 2022. However, I missed the mountains views, people, nature and hiking of Virginia and North Carolina and so I came right back to the southeast. I’m excited to meet and help clients with their dogs, cats, goats, chickens, cows, horses and everything else in between! Pictured with me is my childhood dog, Abbey. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, running, hiking, camping, and playing pickleball!
