Dr. Bennett

Dr. Bennett grew up in Northern Virginia and had a love of animals from the start, whether it was running around her aunt’s farm or driving her parents insane with the miscellaneous critters she would bring into the house. She showed Quarter horses in all-around western riding which brought her to compete on the NCEA equestrian team at Kansas State University. After completing her undergraduate degree, she continued to pursue her dream of being an equine veterinarian by  attending Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in 2022. She then furthered her education by completing a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Tennessee Equine Hospital in Thompsons Station, TN.  Wanting to continue moving east, she moved to NC with her fiancé Peyton, her dog Oliver and their four cats. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, sports medicine/rehabilitation and dentistry.
